And just below is the song itself, which was copied earlier today from a radio stream and spread like wildfire around the web. According to Mastodon’s Facebook page, more about the album (including more music?) was to be revealed at www.mastodonrocks.com at about 9:00 PST tonight. And sho’ nuff — now we have an actual official Mastodon video for “Black Tongue”:

I can’t say I’m a Mastodon fan. But I did like the songs I heard off of “Crack the Skye” and this song was pretty cool. Might be a candidate for my monies. I don’t like the album cover though, despite the fact that the subject of the cover is an awesome piece of art. I would’ve liked another Paul Romano cover. The cover for “Blood Mountain” I think it’s called is way better than this in my opinion.
