Some of the stuff like a quarter of the way through sounded sorta grating, but I think they were doing something weird there. But other than that it sounded like Gojira, which is to say, great! And were they recording Mario drumming on the metal door? I hope they were, that’d be different.
Wasn’t it stated in the Metalsucks interview that,yes, in fact they recorded the door drumming session. Additionally, I think, Joe/Mario said that they’ve always included some weird, unorthodoxic sounds in each of their album and will continue to do so. So i’m hoping this will be it. Sounds and looks awsome. Cannot fucking wait!

it sounds awesome, is there a specific release date for this, or any quarter of the year(assuming it comes out 2012)?
From what I’ve read, there isn’t yet a specific release date, but it’s projected for sometime before the end of the first quarter of 2012.
