Oh my fucking dog. Take a close look at that tour poster above. Upon returning from my birthday Blog Break, I found a message from BadWolf with a link to this beautiful thing, and I nearly peed myself with excitement.
Okay, to be brutally honest, which is the only kind of honest we know how to be at NCS, I did pee myself, though it’s possible that’s the result of general diminution in bladder control that comes with advancing age and an “I can’t be bothered” attitude about going to the bathroom when the first tingling urges appear. Some people would say that I ought to quit fucking around and start manufacturing the NCS-branded adult diapers I’ve written about before, with the “Massive Wall of Penis” logo in the front and the Blastanus logo in the rear, and then start wearing them myself. But for me, I think a little urine stank improves my personal aroma.
Where was I? Oh yeah, the Conquerors of the World 2012 Tour. It’s a North American tour and it features these bands:
Septic Flesh
Krisiun
Melechesh
Ex Deo
Inquisition
As for the tour schedule, it’s still developing, but it starts in October, and after the jump you can see the initial list of 13 dates. Also . . . PIG DESTROYER!
Oct. 12 – Toronto, ON – Wreck Room
Oct. 13 – Trois-Rivières, QC – Trois-Rivières Metalfest
Oct. 14 – Montreal, QC – Cafe Campus
Oct. 15 – Cambridge, MA – Middle East Downstairs
Oct. 16 – New York, NY – Gramercy Theatre
Oct. 17 – Cleveland, OH – Peabody’s
Oct. 18 – Chicago, IL – Reggie’s Rock Club
Oct. 19 – Saint Paul, MN – Station 4
Oct. 20 – Winnipeg, MB – Park Theatre
Oct. 21 – Regina, SK – The Exchange
Oct. 22 – Edmonton, AB – Pawn Shop
Oct. 23 – Kelowna, BC – Sapphire Night Club
Oct. 24 – Vancouver, BC – Rickshaw Theatre
Selfish fuck that I am, all I really care about is that, coming as far as Vancouver, the tour will at least drop down to the next logical stop on the West Coast, which would be Seattle.
I’m sure we’ll post an update on the tour schedule when it becomes more developed, or you can watch this space for further news.
Now, about Pig Destroyer, there is this . . . and I don’t need to say more . . .
I as well almost pee myself right now at work seeing the lineup for this tour!!! and I don’t even live in the states. PIG DESTROYER!!! Can I hear a fuck yeah!!! btw @islander happy late bday and glad your back
Thank you, it’s good to be back, especially to be greeted with such good news. I’ve never seen any of the outfits on this tour before, and all of them are high on my list of must-see bands.
NO DATES NEAR DELAWARE! Be right back gonna go commit mass-murder.
.

.
.
.
Not really…
I think it’s OK to select your targets but not to begin killing before we see the final set of dates.
yeah in my case there are not coming near, so I will commit mass-murder (already selected the targets) damn I need to get out here somehow
What do you mean “final set of dates”? THESE AREN’T ALL OF THEM?!
Admit it..you didnt even read the article did you?
I read all but the stuff directly between the schedule and the Pig Destroyer banner and I think the part that was between the lineup and the schedule didn’t really connect with me. So kinda yes, kinda no.
Nope, not final. The press stuff says this is an initial set and more will be added.
Okay. You’re all safe. For now.
*Mr. Popo laugh*
But no, I’m not gonna kill people, especially not you guys.
Inquisition?
One of these things is not like the other one..one of these things just dosnt belong
I dont care for Septic Flesh and Im kinda “meh” about Krisiun, but the opening bands are all solid..may try and see this tour just for them
True — the bands aren’t cut from the same cloth. I happen to like all of them, so I have no doubt about what I’ll do if they get closer to me than Vancouver.
Isn’t Inquisition from Colombia? Anyway that’s a pretty cool tour. Maybe I’ll catch the NY date.
Originally..but just like The Chasm they live in the U.S. now and are considered a U.S. band for some reason
Similar to the position that Melechesh are in I think. Didn’t they have to leave Jerusalem because of their music and move to the Netherlands? Except they’re still considered a band from Jerusalem.
