On June 7, 2014, Norway’s legendary Emperor performed at the Sweden Rock festival in Solvesborg, which was arranged as part of the band’s commemoration of the 20th anniversary of In the Nightside Eclipse. For this show, the band consisted of Ihsahn, Samoth, Faust, and two live session members — bassist Tony “Secthdamon” Ingebrigtsen and keyboardist Einar Solberg.
A video surfaced today which shows the end of the introductory music and the band playing “Into the Infinity of Thoughts”, the second track from In the Nightside Eclipse. The video quality is excellent, and the audio quality is good enough. And hell, it’s Emperor live in 2014 and what are you waiting for? Watch and listen next…

I really need to find a somewhere that has Emperor’s other stuff at a decent price. I’ve gone long enough without owning more than just ITNE.
Amazon has “Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk,” “In the Nightside Eclipse” and “Prometheus: Discipline of Fire & Demise” on CD, each under $13.
Sounds awesome! That’s a pretty sweet bass that Tony Ingebrigtsen is using 🙂
Ihsahn looked thrilled to be there.
Secthdamon is into it. I wonder when/if a new Myrkskog album will be made. I also wonder what Emperor’s other drummer Trym is up to these days.
I’m hoping we get new Myrkskog in the next couple years but I kind of doubt it. Pretty sure Trym is working as a tattoo artist now? I think he was also making a movie or something but I haven’t heard about it in forever.
Trym is working on the debut album of his new band “God of Atheists” at the moment. Very curious to hear this!
I’m going to see them at Wacken. Can’t wait for it …
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about muscle spasms.
