Once again we are very proud and very excited to help present Northwest Terror Fest in its next edition on May 8-10, 2025 in Seattle, Washington. Today NWTF revealed the first group of bands scheduled to play at next year’s fest (with more to be announced), along with more info.

Here’s that first group of bands — 22 of them — and it’s a tremendous lineup, including headliners Agalloch, Demolition Hammer, and Gorguts:

· Crossspitter*
· Dark Meditation
· Deceased
· Dreadnought
· Glacial Tomb

· Terrorizer L.A. – performing ‘World Downfall’
· Vermin Womb*

* indicates a WA/OR exclusive performance

Twelve more bands – including an additional headliner and more exclusive performances – will be announced later this year.

As in the past, next year’s festival will take place at the adjoining Neumos and Barboza venues in the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood of downtown Seattle.

The first round of full festival passes (in very limited numbers) was made available today at early-bird prices to subscribers to the Northwest Terror Fest e-mail newsletter (and they’re already sold out). Additional full-festival passes will be made available on October 8th here, and in the coming weeks NWTF will release info about the balance of the festival lineup, individual day lineups, and daily tickets. The best way to keep abreast of those developments is to sign up for the festival newsletter and to follow NWTF on-line:

  1. Probably the most legit metal lineup this fest has ever had. Still way over priced.

    • Obviously, everyone has to make up their own mind about whether to spend their money this way or some other way. This year’s ticket prices will be lower than last year’s, when we raised them a bit.

      Our financial objective has always been simply to break even, and it’s always a very fine line. In fact, the ticket prices don’t cover all the costs — we also depend on sponsorship contributions. And all the people who work on the fest, even the organizers, are volunteers.

      I’ll add that if the ticket prices weren’t set where they are, we couldn’t afford the bands whose names you’ve just seen (and the ones yet to be announced) — and the bottom line outcome will still again be a very fine line, dependent on final ticket sales.

    • Also worth mentioning, the Hell’s Heroes indoor venue’s biggest room as a capacity of 1,000, and 3,000 if they also use again use the outdoor ampitheater at the White Oak complex. The biggest of the two venues at NWTF has a capacity of about 700. So it’s a different experience, and that also affects pricing.

  2. I know I started mentally planning for Terror Fest in 2025 during the festival this year. The lineup announcement reminded me why I was adamant about starting the mental plans. I look forward to being back at Neumos for a great few days!
