A bit earlier today DECIBEL magazine announced its sixth annual North American tour, which will run from mid-March to mid-April of 2017. As you can see from the flyer up there, these are the touring bands:

Obituary
Midnight
Horrendous
In addition to those four bands, which in my humble opinion make a great line-up, there will be regional opening bands in “select markets”, which will be announced next year.

Honestly, Im more bummed about not getting to see Midnight and Kreator
Just gave Midnight a listen from the link you posted below. Now I’m sad I’ll be missing them.

They kill it live too…high energy from start to finish
Anyone have any suggestions for what to listen to to get into Kreator before this?
I’ve tried listening to Pleasure To Kill before as I’ve heard it described as a landmark thrash album but I honestly found the production of it to be a deal breaker for me.

…If that dosnt grab you, you can always try their most recent release, Phantom Antichrist, but their sound now isnt what put them on the map all those years ago…its far more melodic these days
I’d highly recommend their newer stuff, particularly Phantom Antichrist and Enemy of God. People tend to gawk over Pleasure to Kill and whatnot and there’s nothing wrong with that but I personally think their stuff since the turn of the millennium is much much better.
coma of souls is excellent, and enemy of god fucking rips beginning to end.
Obituary is awesome live. It was the heaviest show I ever saw. Much better live than recorded I’d say. Kreator too well worth seeing live. Both these bands are legendary and its great to see them staying strong. Wish I could go to this show. Obituary and Kreator in the same show is an excellent pair, so different from each other muscially. Horrendous would be great to see too. Don’t know Midnight. Anyone live in Minnesota? The Cabooze would be a fucking great place to see this!

I’m really hyped for this show. Thought this was going to be the show of the year, until today when the NAILS, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, and GATECREEPER tour got announced.
Finally gonna see Horrendous!! Big fan. And seeing Midnight is always a good time. Stoked for Dallas!
