Someone left a comment on one of today’s earlier posts saying “NCS has always been the most long-winded out of all the metal sites.” Really hurt my feelings. Made me feel real low and pouty. Some people just wanna know if the shit is awesome or not. Makes me wanna just clam up and let all this shit that I saw and heard today speak for itself.

EARLY GRAVES

New Early Graves album. Red Horse. Out 10/30 on No Sleep Records. Pre-Order available at http://www.nosleepstore.com/. New song, too. Also called “Red Horse”. Fucken explosive crusty punky grindy mayhem. Pure awesomeness. (thanks Utmu)

ZONARIA

New Zonaria video. Song is called “Silent Holocaust”. Album is called Arrival of the Red Sun. Out now on Listenable Records, reviewed here. Kick-ass awesome.

DETHKLOK

New Dethklok song, “I Ejaculate Fire”. From new album Metalocalypse: Dethklok Dethalbum III, to be released October 16 by Williams Street Records. Awesome album art. Awesome song. Burned when I came. (thanks DGR)

NUCLEAR DEATH TERROR

Nuclear Death Terror, Danish crust punks. New album, Chaos Reigns, due on Sept. 1 via  Southern Lord. Awesome artwork. New song, “World Enslaved”. Can be downloaded for free on the Terrorizer site (this link). Song is . . . awesome.

RED ELEVEN

New Finnish band, Red Eleven, new single out now on Inverse Records, name of “Stuck On This Feeling Of Feeling Nothing”. Second song on the single is “The Nest”. Now on iTunes and Amazon. Album art is awesome. Part clean singing, but fat riffs.  Songs are, um, awesome.

Could’ve broken this up into 5 posts, spread ’em out, even quicker reading, fill up the whole day. Stupid me. Maybe should try that next time. Bye.

  1. I really like that Early Graves cover, it combines what looks like old-timey art with an abstract abyss. And the guy has a beard.

  2. Great post, Islander. Covers off on just about every appetite one could have during the day for tunes!

  3. Though I haven’t been able to watch the show in quite some time, I’ve been looking forward to Dethalbum III. The first two kicked a lot of ass and II showed a lot of progress over the first one as an album that could easily stand on its own without the show. Looking at the track listing, I am a bit disappointed that there isn’t a third “Murmaider”; the second one was one of the album’s highlights and seemed to me to set up a third song. Regardless, I am now pre-ordering.
