Coming from someone who has been watching Adult Swim for a while, this is uhhhhh, pretty fucking unusual. I don’t see it going very far just on gore-gags and sex jokes alone but there wasn’t exactly much in the pilot past that.
*will refrain from bickering about today’s youth and how much better TV was in my day*

I don’t know, Superjail! has been on for awhile on similar merit. Although maybe I’m wrong on that since I’m not the most loyal watcher and some people really seem to like it. Anyway, I like the death metal sprinkled thoughout the episode, but the show is probably not for me. Interesting premise though.
Valid points Islander but the Superjail comment pretty much sums up what I was trying to express. Superjail had the same kind of crazy-nutso gore and fucked up stuff but with way better animation, style and fluidity. It just seems like this show is trying way to hard to be fucked up and strange without having anything else worth watching past that. Especially when Adult Swim is airing stuff like Rick and Morty, that contains all the gore and sex jokes but with better humor and writing.
However, this is only a pilot and I’d be a complete liar if I said I wasn’t still going to watch this show to see where it goes.
I need to cut back on the cartoons….
Okay, I’m going to make a confession: I’ve never watched anything on Adult Swim, so I have nothing with which too compare this. It just seemed so utterly deranged that I couldn’t resist it.
